Biography
Cassie Lang grew up around Pym Particles, and the exposure gave her size-shifting abilities of her own. She took the name Stature, joined the Young Avengers over her father's loud objections, and turned out to be one of the team's heaviest hitters, capable of going full giant while everyone else was still arguing about tactics.
Her story has been unusually brutal for a legacy teen hero. Cassie was killed by Doctor Doom during Avengers: The Children's Crusade, resurrected by the same event, lost her father, got him back, and eventually rebranded as Stinger with a full flight suit. Kathryn Newton's version in Quantumania put her at the centre of the MCU's Kang setup, which makes her one of the most load-bearing young characters Marvel has on screen.

Comics history
Cassie debuted as a child in The Avengers #181 in 1979, and her illness was the reason Scott Lang stole the Ant-Man suit in the first place. Allan Heinberg's Young Avengers brought her back as a teenager with powers of her own, taking the name Stature.
Doctor Doom killed her in Avengers: The Children's Crusade #6, one of the event's most shocking beats, and the team's magic restored her three issues later. She later became Stinger in The Astonishing Ant-Man and has since worked alongside her father across multiple titles.
