Biography

Korath-Thak was a Kree scientist working on the Pursuer programme, a project to build a soldier capable of tracking any target across the galaxy. When the programme needed a subject he used himself, which tells you everything about Kree institutional culture. The result is a cybernetically enhanced hunter with no interest in anything except the pursuit.

He is a Kree functionary rather than a mastermind, and that is what makes him useful. Djimon Hounsou's MCU version served as Ronan's lieutenant in Guardians of the Galaxy and appeared earlier in the timeline as a member of Starforce in Captain Marvel, giving audiences a rare look at a Kree soldier who is competent, loyal and entirely disposable.
