Biography
Kirby's Kingo Sunen is an Eternal who spent centuries in Japan as a samurai and then, when the sword stopped being useful, reinvented himself as a movie star playing samurai. It is one of Kirby's sharpest jokes about immortality: the practical problem with living forever is not danger, it is having to keep explaining why you never age, and celebrity turns out to be excellent cover.
The MCU relocated the idea to Mumbai and made him a Bollywood superstar passing his career off as a family dynasty, with a valet named Karun filming a documentary about him. Kumail Nanjiani's Kingo is the film's comic relief and also its most quietly moral figure, refusing to fight his own family in the finale and walking away from the whole argument.
