The reactor's five lives

The Iron Man 2 sequence is where most of the hidden detail lives, and almost none of it is in dialogue. Tony projects the 1974 Stark Expo model, strips it down and finds that his father laid the site plan out as an atomic structure. Howard's recorded message tells him the technology to build it did not exist yet and that it is his 'greatest creation,' which the film immediately reveals is a double meaning. 4. The lake cabin, Endgame: no armour at all. A framed photograph of Tony with Peter Parker from the ceremony in Spider-Man: Homecoming sits on the shelf, and it is the object that makes him solve time travel.

That last item is the one people miss on a first watch. Tony has already refused to help. He walks past the photo of himself handing an award to a fifteen-year-old he watched die on Titan, and the next scene has him at a whiteboard. The film never draws attention to it. What we could not verify
